Fred Sanders was the inspiration behind the establishment of The Morris Men of Little Egypt. Having spent years as the motivational force behind the Belchamp side, he sensibly returned to Suffolk with a view to constructing a temporary side in Glemsford as a "bit of a laugh" for a church fete. Little did he know what he was starting; but then again, maybe he did, and we are very grateful to him. He stiil turns up to practices, with his trusty melodeon - or, at least, he turns up at the pub - and he is famed county-wide for his rendition of "Pleasant and Delightful".
Fred and his wonderful wife Binky have also played hosts to the side on numerous occasions for Little Egypt events such as our Grand Guy Fawkes Fireworks celebrations.
