Little Egypt Maintain Tradition

Mumming 2009

Written this year by Andrew the traditional story of the triumph of good over evil contained several references to the past year in Glemsford, much to the delight of the onlookers.

Andrew played the part of Room as Father Christmas
Dave and Hazel as Mr and Mrs Green King (the evil one)
Alasdair as Mauldon Nethergate a brewer
Maggie as the New Village Sign, beautifully and faithfully recreated by her good self
Neville was Tony from Stars 'n' Jars (Hunts Hill Stores)
Chris C was St. George
Chris R played A Wench Most Obliging
and Mike was the Priest

The audience seemed to like it and it was the talk of Glemsford over the next few days, not least amongst customers of Tony and Carol who'd not been there!
