Summer Solstice 2008

Little Egypt with Friends

The Gathering

Some followers of the Morris get very hot under the Baldricks at the suggestion that Morris is the vestige of an Old Pagan Tradition.
In short, they consider the link between Morris and Paganism to be a load of old Baldricks, no more, no less.

Little Egypt, on the other hand, have never been a Side to let historical accuracy bet between them and a good dance and a pint or several.

Thus it was that the Side gathered at The Queen's Head, Hawkedon, for the traditional Dancing of the Summer Solstice.
