Little Egypt at Lidgate

By popular demand: Minimal Morris

or:

The Unremitting Power of the Internet

We all know how big an influence the interne thas become in today's world, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at the appearance back in October, of this request on the Guest Book, from the discreetly-named "Ellie":
Can I ask if the pictures taken on the night where very few of the morris turned up to dance at the star in Lidgate will be posted at all and if they will when so? am looking forward to seeing them!
At the time I promised that unstinting efforts would be made to locate the offending items, and here they are:

Can you see my stick, never mind look at it?

Worth noting on this occasion was the fact that Acting Squire Bangs oversaw the evening.

I can't hold this smile much longer lads.
Make 'em laugh, make 'em cry: that's entertainment.    Well, you've got to laugh, haven't you?
I'm in charge!

He will, of course, claim that, like all the best leaders, he was the only one in time, in step and in the right kit.

If we sneak away, perhaps no-one will notice ...

How many times do I have to tell you Bangsy, we never dance in Whites ...

The audience response was beyond imagination.

An enthralled audience.

Well Ellie: you did ask.
